From Scarlett Its nice having Airedale sisters

by Ed Stuebe on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at 6:48am

Good morning everyone. Iam feeling a little better today. I slept thru the whole night without to much pain. Ed lets me sleep on the couch,so my Airedale sisters dont bother me. My big sister Miley, sleeps with me. She keeps my two other sisters away from me, so I do not forget and try to play with them. I wanted to play tug of war with Lacy yesterday and Miley walked between us to remind Lacy to be careful. Its nice having Airedale sisters that watch out for me.

Thank you all for your prayers.

Scarlett

Scarlett is doing a lot better

by Ed Stuebe on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 6:19am

Good morning everyone, Scarlett woke me up this morning at 4. By licking my face. I put the light on and her tail was wagging. First time I have seen that since her surgery. She must be feeling better. The bruising on her belly is gone. I took her out to go to the bathroom and she tried playing with my other airedales. I had to tell her no. Because it is still cold and slippery out in my backyard. So when they all came in Scarlett started playing bitey face with my airedales. They layed on the floor and started playing. She ate fine. She is really doing quite well.

Scarlett is starting to horse around with my other Airedales

Scarlett is doing great, she is starting to play with my other Airedales more. Scarlett lays on the floor and bites the other girls back legs when they walk by. I caught her licking my Miley's ear, when they were laying together. Miley is the Airedale that has been keeping a motherly eye on Scarlett since I brought her home. I promise I will put some recent pictures of Scarlett up tomorrow. I hope everyone has a good evening, Ed & Scarlett and my other fur kids.

Scarlett is doing very good, she has a way of getting under my girls skin.

Hello all of Scarletts friends, sorry I have not posted anything about her. I have been busy with all the snow we got here, and I have been very lucky to find a new loving forever home for one of the Airedales that was in a shelter here. But Scarlett is doing really well. Playing with my furgirls. Scarlett has a real playful way about her. She likes to get under my girls skin, bites their legs, she just wants to play with them all the time. I watch her close so she does not go overboard with them. I think she is going to be just fine.

Scarlett will be moving on to her new home

By Ed Stuebe · Wednesday, February 9, 2011

Hi everyone who has been following Scarlett's story. It is with a heavy heart but very happy heart that I let you all know, Scarlett will be moving on Sat. to her new, loving forever home. She will be living with a wonderful family in southern Ind. It will be hard to let her go, but this way I have room for another foster. She has taught me so much about the terrier spirit. I will never forget her. I will still get to see her once a year at Fall Aire Frolic.

Thank you all for your prayers and donations that got her through her difficult time. She will be loved. Thank you

Scarlett has been wagging her tail and she also barks

By Ed Stuebe · Thursday, February 10, 2011

Hi all of Scarlett's freinds. I have noticed since Monday that Scarlett must be totally recovered. She has been wagging her tail almost all the time, and I herd her bark at my Lacy, as if come on lets play, when Lacy and Scarlett were outside. Lacy just looked at her and then Scarlett walked up to Lacy and gave her a head nudge and off they went. They ran around my yard for 5 minutes and said, O K its to cold lets go in and finish this. They layed on the floor playing bitey face. I think my Lacy is also going to miss Scarlett.

Scarlet has found a Forever Home

By Ed Stuebe · Thursday, February 10, 2011

A very nice couple, Bob & Denise Seis are adopting her. Bob does not have his own Facebook page at this time. But please go to Airedale Terrier Rescue & Adoption – ATRA group Facebook page. Bob told me he will start posting, how she is doing. He is the Kentucky coordinator for ATRA and manages Annette's Airelooms. It is a wonderful site that sells Airedale merchandise, that benefits the rescued Airedales. Scarlet will start her journey to her new home on Saturday morning. She should be in her new home by late afternoon. Thanks to everyone that has followed her story. When I get another foster in I will continue to let you know she or he is doing.

Thank you all again for praying for Scarlet, and your donations to help cover her amputation.
