Finn beginning the healing
Finn is up and walking around. Maybe a little too much at first.
Dr Scanlan said that it might be because he has been used to being in pain for so long that this is no different. That makes me just want to cry. The difference is this pain will go away. He doesn't know that yet, but I can't wait.
Finn saying "hi" to me.
This is two days after surgery. He is happy. He washed my face with his tongue and was wagging his tail.
He is doing really well. Dr Scanlan said that if he keeps going this way, we might be able to do the second surgery sooner than the expected nine weeks.
We will need to do x-rays first to make sure it is healed enough . . . but we'll see. Paws crossed.
We have to keep him from using the good leg too much before it heals. . . . that is where the cart comes in. This weekend, we are going to see if he can use the cart. May have to wait a couple of days if his hip incision is sore or if the cart rubs on it or bumps it.
Tail wagging!!
Nose poking thank you.

His vet bill is now at $3593.14.
