Missing Airedale Alert
Occasionally we hear of an Airedale that has been missing, lost or found. This page offers a place to post information to help re-unite a worried owner with their Airedale friend.
You can also post a lost ad to Post/Search lost and found ads and search the lost pets in order to try and locate your missing friend. In addition, many newspapers will run lost and found ads for free.
Remember an ad with a photo will help someone recognize their pet! These can be hung up at, grocery stores, pet stores and other local businesses.
( Info such as color, sex, breed, hair length, scars or any distinguishing marks are also very helpful.
Found Female Airedale- SW Ontario Canada

Female, approximately 5-6 years old, medium build, and healthy. She is friendly and seems good with older kids, indoor cats and other dogs. Likes to play ball and be fussed over. She was found October 19/12 running on a side road between Brantford and Ancaster.

Lost Male Airedale Terrier. His name is Fez, he has an orange Harley Davidson collar on. He weighs approximately 60 lbs and needs a haircut. He got out of our backyard this afternoon. Lost Male Airedale

LOST MALE AIREDALE in the Hominy and Cleveland OKLAHOMA area. Friendly, neutered, skinny with lots of stickers in his coat. Collar but no ID. It appears he has a back hurt leg and walks with a limp. Found Airedale in Palos Park IL - Emma is a small two year old female.

She was found tangled in some bushes behind a building. An AT&T worker found her. Emma is now on her way to the vet's for a check up, the home for some food and a long nap on the sofa. She has some scrapes and scratchs, nothing serious. Sh...e did lose a lot of weight, (and she wasn't very big to start with), but with a few good meals she will back to being her young self. Thank you to everyone who came out and searched and for all your good wishes and prayers.

Emma was outside on a tether with her foster mom when fireworks went off and she bolted. Emma is very timid and needs to be approached slowly. She has a red collar with an ATRA tag and is chipped with an AVID microchip. She may have part of lawn chair that broke when she bolted tangled in her lead. There are a number of forest perserves in the area where she could hide. If anyone has any information please call Linda at 219-902-8667. Emma's picture is attached.

2/25/11 MISSING AIREDALE Little Rock, AR--Toby. 5 yrs old. He has on his collar and tags and is dragging his leash. He bolted loose after a rabbit near the Baptist Hospital in Little Rock. It happened last night. I was hoping to hear by this morning he had come home, but he hasn't. We need search parties on the ground more than anything right now. If you are in that area, keep your eyes open. Wendy Paquette is in the area with her Airedale looking. If you have any information or want to join her in the search call her.

Our very, very, very loved family pet is missing. Please contact us if you have seen him.
Pete is an airedale(brown and black) He had on a black collar with silver bones and id tags when he went missing. He has a microchip. He is approx. 3 feet tall and 65# He's a handsome, sweet dog and we miss him. He was last seen on state Hwy 6.
