This is the book parents and kids should read and discuss Before they decide to get a first dog. It just might prevent some bad adoptions from happening. On the other side, "Rescue Me" shows the love that dogs bring into a home. It demonstrates how a child's care and devotion to a dog can help him or her overcome problems and blossom in all areas of life. "Rescue Me" is about a formerly abused dog who is rescued and adopted. While the story is fiction, the dog is real, and she represents thousands of other dogs who are waiting in shelters for someone to love. On top of that, it's a darn good story!

Ken currently resides in northern Ohio with his wife, Dorie. While never attending a writing school, that has not kept him from penning three screenplays, two volumes of poetry, numerous short fiction stories and beginning his first novel. "Rescue Me" is his first published work.
Ken spends time off from writing with his wife, working to become a real guitarist one day, and of course, with his beloved dog.
